Dedicated to the memory of Anthony Lovering

"In April 2021 Tony was diagnosed with a very rare cancer  -  Goblet Cell Carcinoma of the Appendix, a type of Pseudomyxoma Peritonei cancer. This type of cancer affects only one in 2 million people. In typical Tony style, he twice cheated his demise; first in December 2021 with a groundbreaking operation called CRS/HIPEC aka MOAS (the Mother of all surgeries) at The Christie hospital in Manchester and then again last summer with the help of TPN at Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham. Little is known about this type of cancer as it is so rare and isn't easily detected by blood test or scans, and he had a battle in being taken seriously by the medical profession. We would like any donations to go towards funding research and treatment to help raise awareness and support others going through similar diagnoses and treatments. Tony would always say trust yourself, be your own advocate and fight to be heard, and this attitude certainly helped him not only in life in general but to get the medical treatment he needed"
